The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert or CCIE is the highest level technical certification offered by Cisco Systems. This course assists one to learn to design, implement, build and troubleshoot structures related to enterprise networking.

How many CCIE’s are there in India? 

I think it will be an interesting question for the IT Industry people who wants to know.  People find it difficult but it’s not that complicated. Because CCIE’s are numbered consecutive, that ultimately helps to determine the highest CCIE number?
Just subtract the highest reported CCIE from the first CCIE number issued to a human, which is #1025.
So, as of July 18, 2019, there are 62514 CCIE's in the world. An as per the headline, CCIE’s in India are around 10,000 in which 3000 CCIE’s is Active and 7000 Inactive.  Regardless of whether they've kept up their CCIEs through recertification is another story.

Which CCIE program is better?

Any CCIE Certification is a difficult nut to crack and most of the people prefer taking Routing & Switching First. The passing ratio between CCIE Written and CCIE Lab is quite different. However, people choose their CCIE track as per the industry demands or according to the company where they are working.
We Suggest - Do what you love the most and what makes sense to you the most!  That will make it easier to study!  But ignore all the people who talk statistics related stuff...  70% of all statistics are made up anyway.
